With 2 pen saves, there can be only one surely?

In fact, one for the stattos, when was the last time any rovers keeper saved 2 pens in one game. ?

Got to be Balcombe but every single one was fantastic today. And whatever Gomes had as a pre dinner meal can I have it please? It was like the energiser bunny in fast forward.

But apart from the pens he did not have many saves to make.

I thought they all were man of match today but I am going for Halliday just in front of Ellery.
His work rate was phenomenal.

He made a phenomenal save second half from a shot from McGrandles and came to cut out some low crosses really well.

Got to be Balcombe, the two penalty saves have won us the game.

Wright and Richards the runners-up for me. Wright especially had a really strong game overall.

OK, who voted for Simoes? Have you been on the ale? Decent for 40, knackered for 20, subbed around 60.

Not only the penalty saves but love the way he holds the low crosses rather than parrying

“Apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?”

Its like saying a player who scored a hat-trick but didn’t do much else shouldn’t walk away with the match ball!

Sometimes it's hard to pick anybody, sometimes it's hard just to settle on one.
Could have been any from 5 or 6 today.
Terrible defending from Balcombe though lol

You would think so given that in a poor match at home - often the Goal scorer wins when they were not MOTM in other places

So with EB saving those 2 Pens that should equate to winning MOTM easily
