Colin 'Fingers' Henry, he could play the piano standing on his head.
Billy Joel. Not always a critics favourite, but his piano playing is (still) incredible.I’ve seen him many times in the UK and was lucky enough to see him at MSG in 2019. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gJf7_5vH1WE
Can't see how Prince didn't get credit. He was a global superstar.
Half Man, Half Biscuit.Often get bracketed as just doing comic songs but actually they do some very good songs and his lyrics remain is wry and cutting as ever. I think they should be have the status of national treasure by now.
Paul HeatonHas been a prolific and good songwriter for many years but doesn't shout too much about it. Not only that, he does a lot of work for charidee but not your Coldplay/U2 sort of charidee. He gives to redundant workers in the UK, does benefit gigs for ex miners. If you're ever likely to bump into a pop star helping out at a food bank, it'll be Paul Heaton.
Whether it be a musician, sportsman, actor, in fact, anyone in the public eye, past or present, who deserve more credit for their talent? I'll start seeing as it's my idea.Prince was a superb guitarist, and up there with the best.....https://youtu.be/6SFNW5F8K9Y
