Why isn’t bogle taking pens , a chance to get him off the mark , he should be demanding that ball

Penalties ... Smith would be my choice to take them. He has an ability to place a ball as well as being a powerful hitter of the ball.

Piss poor preparation, we don’t even know who’s going to take penalties, although we played poorly the coaching and organisation needs looking at

As bad as we have been at defending today we could easily have had a point from this game.

Richards, Bostock, Simms and Lokilo have been good. The rest and in particular the centre  backs ...utter garbage

Bogle hasn't been too bad.

We don’t really deserve to lose this,
Terrible defending has cost us
But we’ve played well in the second half

I didn’t like the way that Lokilo carried the ball to the spot with the intention of taking the penalty. Has DM not predetermined who should take them? You would hope so.

That’s 7 goals conceded in last 2 games and there’s still 15-20 left in this one

7 goals since Anderson went off

When Mickey Walker commentated on our games he got slated for saying “Doncaster”.
How come Rob Jones is getting away with it?
Mickey walker lives in donny though

Not everyone who lives in Donny says Donny maybe ? Just a thought

???
I tried to say you missed the point entirely fella

Exactly, this isn’t the playground. You won the penalty - great, you’ve done your job, now let the one who’s most likely to score it actually take it.

It seems we’ve overlooked the fact we haven’t got a designated penalty taker, which in that case you have to give it to the best striker of the ball, both Taylor and Lokilo are not good strikers of the ball, awful display, awful decision making, needs sorting pronto, esprcially the balls coming into the box

Would have thought James or Hobson would have been good pen takers

I had to walk away into the other room for ten minutes so missed Lokilo’s penalty but why on earth did he take it?!

Anyway I thought we played better than we did on Tuesday night and actually could have got a result today so not all doom and gloom.

It’s just incredible that we could concede 4 virtually identical goals.

That I think was as bad as bad can be, well I hope so at least. Anyway, back at it on Tuesday/Wednesday we can only hope for better.

Onwards and upwards

The manager should have decided before the game who is the penalty taker.

We did deserve to lose, the defending was as poor as I have seen in 35 years - and just think of what I've seen in those times. We have lost are mojo and it isn't just losing Whiteman - we look devoid of confidence, hanging on from the first minute, unable to pass the ball.... FS. I need a time away from this to chill...every year they sucker me in.

I wouldn't mind if Sunderland were good, they had one decent player - with the same skill and aim every time - either put two players on him, or take him out.

Precisely, we don’t.
Filo said we don’t have a designated penalty taker.
You should have been jumping on his post, not mine.

Based on today the starting line up for Accrington should be in my opinion:

Balcombe
Halliday RB
Wright CH
Anderson (if available, if not Butler) CH
James LB
Bostock CDM
Sims LM
Richards CAM
Smith CM
Lokilo RM
Bogle CF
