We’ve lost the plot this last 5 minutes. Started well but seem determined to shoot ourselves in the foot.

Bullet, meet foot. Totally avoidable. But not surprising.

Right. 0-1.

Can we start playing with a bit more direction now? We have enough quality to win.

After a great start to the game we have been so sloppy giving possession away.

Lost the urgency and allowed Accrington in to the game.

Sorry to say a goal all of our own making.
Ball out from Balcombe to someone under pressure.

So many problems this season caused by poor clearances.

We have played into tight situations on a few occasions in the last twenty five minutes.
Too many times really and it was looking more and more likely that it would end up with conceding a goal.

We don’t cope well when pressed, two shocking passes from Butler, and if Balcombe is not going to improve his kicking, kick it long, one big plus is Bogle is everything Fej is not in that role

Playing it short and to feet from goal kicks to try to get control of possession, I can understand.

What I can’t understand is floating the ball into a dangerous area in our own half where the chances of giving possession away and being left wide open increase massively.

Really disappointing goal to concede, and it’s just about deserved. We had a decent opening 10 mins but just haven’t kept it going.

All so unnecessary! We're just not good enough at the back to get away with it!

We mostly played ok but defence looked shaky being pressed and I'm not convinced there's anyone to really break up midfield.

Criminal allowing midfield runners like that.

Yep, and we don't press in return - we just give them space up to the half way line!

We are playing a lot better than any of our recent games. Just need to stop messing about at the back. So much better with James at LB. Give it 15 minutes and if we are still behind bring on Simms for Taylor.

Sloppiness at the back and slow play two wide men that are not showing their best. Okenabirhe and Sims would be better out wide .Joe Wright is not Tom Anderson. Midfield two ok, Bostock and Smith would be better.  So let’s hope we can get back into this game needs Sims on if he’s ready and Probably Lokilo.

There are times when you just have to clear your lines. If there’s no pass on, don’t try and pass it. I’m all for playing good football out from the back but not if it’s not on. It’s becoming a very predictable way of teams breaking us down, use a high line.

Yet another blathering defeat on the cards and the team seemed to be well in control.....until we started gifting them unforced errors.... I did say we hadn’t quite finished with that “ losing”  tag...
Impressed with Bogle , would like to see Fej on for Simoes to get onto some of that good old Bogle hold up play....

Robert on is not putting himself about enough physically, so Accy will own the middle of the park for long periods....

Look on the bright side....we were nearly good enough for a top two, but on this trajectory we are now looking to consolidate a top 6 place with a few hounds nipping at our heals....

Right ...second half to prove me wrong

I'll take first 20 mins any day. Then we invited them on. Should deffo mix it up playing short and long from the back. The slowest quick free kick I'd ever seen was warning enough.

Plus who gave Butler dispensation to wear white boots. Saw he wore them at Sunderland!

Get Richards more on the ball and things will happen. Bogle doing OK.

Rich pickings when you press our back line.  Every team does it because we've shown so many times it will work for them.

No it will not change, DM likes his teams playing that way, albeit not so badly! The defence are too hesitant to make the right pass, so resort to passing between themselves, that is why Whiteman dropping soooo deep worked, he took the ball and decision making from them. Bostock should be the man to step in here, he still looks a yard of the pace to me - but that might be how he is?
