Peterborough starting to have a February like our January. No one else in amazing form although this would be 3 on the bounce for Sunderland if they stay in front against Fleetwood.

As it stands we're down to 6th, and 9 points behind Posh. Games in hand, but they're not points in the bag.

5th straight win for Peterborough and 9 points ahead of us now.

Edit - assuming it stays that way, hadn’t realised there was still half an hour to play!

The old points in the bag/ games in hand scenario. Adds another dimension to this strangest of seasons,

I dont think our position looks as strong as it did three or four weeks ago.
Points in the bag all day for me.

Probably not, but in three or four weeks it will probably look different for most teams once again.

There is still a long way to go yet.

If Peterborough lose one or both of JCH and Szmodics, their season is done.

Lots of football to be played. Important thing is to get back to winning ways quickly and stay within reach of the top 3.

There is and much can change as we know.
I dont think we usually do well in February, could be wrong but someone will put me right if i am wrong.

After this run of games we should expect to be a few points adrift, although slipping back with the number of games makes things look worse.

Points in the bag is always the best place to be but it is what it is.

Gutting really about tonight because we really needed to follow on from Saturday.

As we know to our cost Fergie isn't right good at the last six games of the season.

Plenty of time yet for Fergie’s team to bottle it.

We play them twice in 10 days at the end of the season.

We now have 19 games to play in 11 weeks.
Blackpool even worse 20 to play.

Injuries are key to any teams chances more this season than ever before with the sheer no of games in such a short time.

Noticed Hull didn’t have one shot on target tonight.

Wonder who McCann will blame. Probably the referees fault. He got in the way of all their shots at goal i suspect.   ;)

There’s no love lost for Fergie on here and rightly so but he’s doing a great job with Peterborough. They’ve done nothing for years and he’s got them flying - top of the league, most goals scored and second best defensive record, despite losing their best player and replacing him with someone who most of this forum sniffed at when we were rumoured to be interested.

I hope it collapses for them as it’s a better chance of letting us in but they’re doing the business right now.

What a truly ridiculous thing to say... you know full well it’s the noise coming from “the fans” in attendance that would change the outcome of the game. He literally told you that on Saturday. :)

Dembele is their best player,
Posh are hitting form at the right time,
We need to go on another run of our own now

at that rate, DM will be describing it as 3 games in 4 days?
Apparently, Wednesday nite to Saturday afternoon was 48hrs?, he really needs to get a Watch.

Posh hitting form but is it the right time. Never a wrong time of course but will they still be winning consistently come April and the run in. We will have to wait for that answer but I suspect Posh have hit the front a little too early.
This is going to be the tightest finish for some time. Any one of the top 6 could go up automatically.
Any of the top 10/11 could finish in the top 6.
Who has got the bottle, who wants it the most.  Very exciting last 3rd of the season approaching.
Just wish we could be there to see some of the action in person.

Camps, I reckon points in the bag are better than anything else and Peterbro are collecting points at a fair old rate right now.
I bet you would be happy to be in their position just now.

Games are stacking up now and there's little, no room for manoeuvre.

Trouble is the EFL will do whatever to protect the final day's fixtures and will do whatever to force teams to have fulfilled fixture by then.

Might come down to disputes between clubs on fixture rescheduling and the EFL arbitrating. If it comes to that, guess who's likely to get the short end of the wedge.

Posh home form is considerably better than anyone else in the division.
5 points clear of 3rd place with two games in hand they’re going to have a big change in form to not go up.

Long way to go still. If they were to lose Spazmodics to injury, that would be a big blow.
