A photo of Barnsley (the Loco)

Also a superb drawing of it in case anyone wants to buy you a belated Xmas Prezzie.

I have the Rovers version and I have to say its great. Got one displayed in Belle Vue Bar and look at that price. £19.50

Barnsley folk didn't travel far. The Loco only went on the Darfield, Ingbirchworth, Norton, Goldthorpe, Langsett, Elsecar route.

Thanks for that Wolf its absolutely right up my street .

Whilst on furlough last year I built a bar ( man cave ) with a Barnsley , mining and BFC theme going on .

Just old stuff , history and heritage you know the sort of thing .

This will definitely add to the collection .

Much appreciated Wolf .

No problem - Google Richard Green B17 Footballers and its all there

I bought myself one and one for BVB and had them framed (by deebee now retired lol)

For that price they are a bargain but I was amazed at how good they were - sure anyone who knew steam trains and has seen the BVB one will be impressed

EDIT - meant to ask do you brew your own for the bar - and making you work for the info now do you prefer Acorn or Stancill Barnsley Bitter - for me Acorn esp in Number 7 lol ?

More a bottle bar Wolf , I was a bitter drinker as a younger man , my local back in the day was hand pulled Tetley's which was magnificent .

More a bottled lager man these days .
