Looks a reasonable line up. My main concern is Richards depending on whether he wants to take on MK on his own or plays a team game. I hope Copps and Bostock can have a positive influence and we see the best of him.

Agreed, not been impressed with Richards performances or body language in the last few games. Undoubtedly has talent but whether he was actually playing for the badge and not just the previous manager remains to be seen for me. I hope he proves me wrong starting today.

If T-R has anything about him and professional pride he will realise that he has to give 100% for whoever he is playing for.
If Butts thought he wasn’t doing I’m sure he would either have had a word in his ear or left him out of the team.

AB’s had a week to get this team selection right I’m not sure he has but let’s wait and see. We can’t be conceding quick goals again. Let’s hope the four attacking playes can score having put Okenabirhie on the bench.

Wright has been poor with his early passing, given the ball away three times.

Mk Dons possession must be about 80% so far, we’ve barely seen anything of it.

Bbc says 69% Nick but they aren’t doing much with it.

Bostock’s as bad at tackling as Richards, won’t be long before he goes in the book!

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Game sounds very droll and based upon only really hearing what the Dons are doing, we seem to be playing same old same old.....if I’m wrong ...blame the commentators !

MK Dons average the most possession in the league. 60%, we average 52.9%. They boss every game they play, we just need to counter them.

They’ve got a couple of very good passers of the ball in Surman and McEachran, doesn’t really surprise me. I’d be happy to have either one of them in our midfield.

Fantastic run from Copps and ball from James sees us in behind for our first chance, well closed down by the keeper but Copps could probably have done better than the tame cross that he managed.

Sounds like we will maybe need to concede a couple before we work out a way to score ourselves......

Couple of chances for MK and a good save by Jones. All came from a misplaced (simple) lay off from Richards when we were attacking. I’m really not seeing it with Richards at the moment, hope he proves me wrong but for the past couple of months I think he’s been a waste of a shirt.

Richards has only had 3 touches, and 2 of which he passed it to the opposition.
No spark in the team up to now.

Richards just found himself with the ball outside the box, ran into the box and fell over

I got an invitation to Stamford Bridge to a European game when McEachran made one of his first full starts and I thought he was superb and would make the breakthrough there. Proves I know bog all but I did get to have a long chat with Peter Bonetti!
