It's all down to the players or something more sinister if you read what Nick Buxton says on twitter. Can understand him backing his mate but not a hugely professional post....

Can’t really argue with the tweet - the players have switched off/given up and should take a long hard look at themselves

Season ends 4 weeks today it's pointless changing it.

Absolute b*ll*ocks! The way we finish the season could well define how next season goes or at least how it starts. When Leicester City won the Premier League they began that season how they finished the last. Full of belief and winning.

You really think someone could change much in 4 weeks in about 10 training sessions. By the time they have started they'd be gone again given it's likely they wouldn't get the full time person in until the end of season anyway.

A bad workman....... these are the same "tools" that have had two opportunities to become the leaders in this division. Players don't generally lose all their ability overnight, but they can become fractured as a team and disheartened by leadership.

Can’t really argue with the tweet - the players have switched off/given up and should take a long hard look at themselves

In Butlers post match interview, he said only Tom Anderson and Paul Gerard said anything, he never mentioned if he himself said anything, I suspect he’s not cut out to dish bollockings out, let me in there and give them some home truths, they would know they’ve had a bollocking then, they are putting in zero effort and they know it, thats why every single one of them have gone missing on social media, happy to take the plaudits when they get a result, but hide when they don’t, just like when they are on the pitch!

I don't think we can lay this fully at his door really. We are neither going up or going down this season. Let's just take this opportunity to start getting a manager lined up so they are in place for when the season ends. We've in some respects got one over on many other sides as we have nothing to play for. Let's be smart and use this time to get a manager sorted.

He said he had one to ones with all the players and was confident they would improve, If anything they have got worse!
What is a one to one . Seems like he can’t take them all on when it comes to dishing out the home truths . Coward !!

That is an absolute disgrace. You want kneecapping for a remark like that after all the service Butts has given this club as a player over the years.

It's not his fault he's been landed with a bunch of lightweights. He was asked by the board to step up & help the club & he did just that. He hung up his boots in an attempt to give it his best shot but his best unfortunately hasn't been able to mould this set of selfish mercenaries into a group.

I'd like to see you stand face to face with him & call him a coward.

Only one coward here spouting cheap crap from behind the safety of your keyboard.

To$$er.

It usually takes us four weeks to appoint a manager once the process has begun.

And the season finishes four weeks yesterday. Are we going to see an advertisement tomorrow?
