Send loanees back tomorrow

And play with the youth players for the last seven games . We are getting cuffed by average sides anyway and we are unlikely to win again this season. A cost saving too. Get it done!

If only. Players agents would probably have something to say against this and it would no doubt be against Club Doncaster ethos to renege on any loan deal.

We won't want to piss off parent clubs because in the future we'll be needing 5-7 of their up and coming players to come and play if they feel like it.

Yeah let's lumber ourselves paying for players we'd then no longer have at our disposal, great idea.  :silly:

I'm fairly sure there is an agreement with the parent clubs that the less time a player plays,  the more drfc pays in wages.

This run is showing the inadequacy of the loan system for the club long term and we need to rely on it less. Next season will be another struggle I fear.

Apparently not but you can't help feeling like it's the case there has been some bias towards the loan players for a few years now. Whether that's contractual or a subconscious thing it seems to happen.

Going as far back as Kongolo who was a player in the mould of this season getting game time despite been our worst player. Could only have been to do with his parent club we had far better players who were contracted to DRFC

Dont get this bullshit that it's always send the loan players back and it's their fault. 8 out of the 12 players that played tonight were contracted players.

Entire back line were not only our own players, but two were academy graduates and Wright has essentially only been a contracted pro player with us.

I think it's more the insinuation that a few loan players are bad influences on the squad as a whole. If thats the case in the position were in why deal with it just get rid maybe it'll lift the squad getting the negative attitudes cut out, the ones we can at least.

Then at the end of the season get rid of all the other players and start over.

Richards posting his goal on social media after a 1-4 defeat to a team in a relegation fight says all you need to know about his mentality.
