I know that many will hate the way they were originally created, but setting that aside, with two games to go they are in with a chance of a play off place by playing football in the right way. From the start of the season when they played us off the park and had to settle for a 1-1 draw, they never gave up on their playing style of keeping the ball and playing positive attacking football. It didn’t always work out, but they stuck with it. Huge congratulations to Chris Martin and his team for never giving up on their principles and even though they may just fall short, they have finished the season strongly and have momentum going into next season.
They have an expensively assembled squad. When you look at the top of the league, so do lots of the teams up there. Hull City hung onto most of their Championship squad, Peterborough sold Toney but bought with ambition in JCH and Smodicz and those two have basically got them promoted. Sunderland have an expensive team, Blackpool invested heavily, same goes for the likes of Oxford and Portsmouth. It’s hard to compete if you don’t. Our new manager and head of recruitment will have a job on to get us competitive for next season.

Actually Posh have kept more clean sheets than I thought. 17 in 43 league games which is pretty good for a DF team.Pretty good recipe for success. Scoring goals and keeping clean sheets. CBcb I think our score based on that is 1-1 You won’t be happy with 2-2 but 0-0 i can’t go with.
