My faith has been restored. What an excellent second half performance. Feel a bit sorry for Mr Ferguson though.......... :)

Well well. That has to go down as the surprise result of the evening in lge 1.
Feared a battering and at 2 down after 23 mins I thought oh no, please not a white wash.
Academic to posh who I believe have secured promo now.
Very happy with a draw tonight. Despite it being largely irrelevant for rovers.

No they haven’t secured promotion yet.

I stand corrected. Lincoln must win all three and posh must lose both remaining games. Looking at their gd. A draw would do it.

Lincoln play Peterborough on Saturday. Then final game of season for Peterborough is away at Rovers.

Could it...could it...oh that would be too funny by far.

I just posted something similar on another thread.
I just hope that Lincoln do them on Saturday.
how good would it be to see another Ferguson failure.

I’d like to see posh run ragged till the last day, but ultimately I’d rather see rovers play at sincil bank next season than London rd. so let the gimps beat them this weekend, make Ferguson sweat, and then beat them at keepmoat too, but Lincoln slip up in one of their games. I can’t stand the thought of another promotion for the gimps, in such quick succession.

But we love playing Posh. It’s points in the bag.

I know, but if you listen to the commentary on ifollow the commentator repeatedly calls Jones,  Balcombe

I listened to the away (our) commentary.
I assume you listened to the home one.

I've just watched it. They referred to Lokilo as Bogle once and Richards once.

I don't know why they upload the highlights always with the home commentary but it is a bit annoying. Robbie does a really good job but anyone who doesn't watch live doesn't get the chance to hear him!

Shocking really. Getting so many players’ names wrong. On the extended highlights too.

Maybe Robbie should get all of the Peterborough players wrong for the return leg.

Imps winning at London road. The Ferguson meltdown continues.

Ffs posh just levelled with a 90+6 penalty. And that’s promotion.

One of a few Mickey Rourke posts today - aged badly. I’m guilty of a couple of gloating texts sent prematurely as well!

I sort of feel sorry for their fans tbf. That would have been chaos at London rd. secure promotion with a late injury time peno and prob l@st kick of the match.
I want to see Lincoln fail miserably in the playoffs now please.

Ironic that the last minute pen against Lincoln came from an alleged dive.

That was a shocking decision by the ref, he just threw himself on the floor, don't think the Lincoln defender even touched him

Happy with that, means there isn't a promotion party at the Keepmoat. Title race gone too.

Shameful dive by the Posh player, but with 30 seconds of stoppage time remaining he perhaps decided that he had to do it for the team?

The main culprit though was the referee who ‘bought it’.

They did come back from 3-0 down, so a bit of credit may be due..

.I don’t dislike the Posh like most, perhaps because I was based down there for a few years and got to see them occasionally on Tuesday nights..( bird was a fan) ....I did however join the Rovers lot when we played them...

Not that it makes a terrible decision any better, let me just say that Lincoln have had their fair share of decisions like that that have gone their way this season. Grant must be on 15 goals for the season, I’d imagine 14 are pens.

Was interested, so I checked 17 goals and 12 pens..... Totally agree with you about Jorge Grant though - dives more than Jacques Cousteau.

I’m glad this fight did not go to our final game as I did not want them going up on our back

Just seen Peterborough's penalty today.

That is quite possibly the most shocking refereeing mistake in the history of the game.
