According to Sheffield Star Darren is out of hospital after blood clots and pneumonia and could return before this season. It looks like he’s on the mend

If he would have left at the first time of SW showing an interest (according to media) he may have had a hand in relegating two teams.

Good to hear he is on the mend. The cynic in me would use the opportunity to stay off work until relegation is confirmed. "Wasn't me, just didn't get the time with the team due to Covid"

This less remark is not good but let’s look at other DF and GM were backed at the club and did not get promoted. All three managers have been criticised.
Yet GM and DF have put squads together that have score the most goals and conceded less. One GM is promoted and the other DF could be promoted tonight with teams they have put together and been backed by their clubs.
