Didn't Sheffield Wednesday get deducted points for the same thing? If that is the case surely SWFC should appeal their 6 point deduction.

I may be wrong I don't know in the ins and outs of it.

My guess is with the season ended any punishment will be inflicted next season and not retrospectively on this season, probably the same points deduction inflicted on Owls

Yes, Owls had their deduction reduced on appeal.

Derby will appeal the points deduction although they have accepted the decision. This is in itself is a delaying tactic which may  affect the EFLs decision when to apply the sanction, which again is not how rules should apply.

Derby should be relegated now based on punishing the club as soon as possible after committing the crime. Should clubs like Man City, Derby, Owls, Bolton keep being given too much time to prepare their cases and be given soft sanctions, the deterrents are not strong enough to prevent financial mismanagement.

I hope the fan led review encompasses the strengthening of the disciplinary process.
