Who’s looking forward to the new season.?

I am.

Fresh start, new manager with all close season and pre season to build his squad, and hopefully with a decent amount of fans back..

Shame I work Saturdays…

Also looking forward to it IDM, I get a real buzz going to the first pre season friendly, looking forward to seeing our new players actually playing a game, and to see how our new manager set the team up, and how they deliver on the pitch. Of course that's not going to happen this coming season due to you know what.
Funnily enough, for me it's just as exciting as rolling up to the Keepmoat for the first home game.

I said it before Wellens was appointed, I think they will be a resurgence in football given the past 18 months and the Big 6 breakaway threat highlighting how important clubs are to the fans and communities.

The prospect of a new era under Wellens on top of the release of being set free from Covid will give everyone a lift.

Add into that any feelgood factor eminating from the Euros, should England continue the journey, will make a lot of folk want to get back to watching live football.

From what I gather from the club, there are signs of an uplift in ticket sales and interest.

I can almost smell the fresh cut grass, linament oil, bovril and pies wafting through my nostrils.

Bring it on!

I'm in two minds as to next season. I watched most games last season on iPlayer and loved it, even when we weren't winning I still looked forward to the game. It was Rovers Day. I'm really excited about the new appointment and from what I'm reading in the EPost. But feeling sad because I know I'll not be watching as I can't justify a season ticket.
I would really appreciate it if the iPlayer streaming could continue for those who are not able to get to the ground.

Tbh no I'm really sad to say this but I think I real feel disconnected from drfc at the minute from having spent over £1000 on season tickets last year and as we live in the same household used 2 I follow accounts one for me the other the folks.

And no emails returned from the club apart from have 50% back oh if you buy for the next 5 seasons unfortunately my current situation means I doubt that is going to happen.

So I think it will be goodbye keepmoat it's been eventful

Have you rang the ticket office about it? They've been brilliant at sorting lots of people this summer with everyone having different circumstances and feelings about the offers and prices.

Thanks everyone I really don't want to miss out we have gone as a family since the keepmoat was built, having moved back from Florida.
