Saw a similar interesting stat on twitter (although haven't verified it myself) that tonight both keepers made their competitive debut for the same club....

Darlington.

Maybe a bit surprised on the Saka/Sancho swap but it's a coin toss on those two I guess. Either way there's pace in mind again with possibly the guile of Grealish as back up.

Pickford might have a nice haircut at the moment  but he worries me ( Englands best goalkeeper is injured) just hope he doesn't make one
and doesn't complicate shots straight at him for the cameras (again).
as for Schmeichel  if there is a one on one put it through his legs as he makes himself big

well Pickford  tried to give a goal away with the throw out but thankfully got away with it -- and yours truely was not happy that he didnt save the freekick   -- hopefully his mistakes are finished for tonight.  He needs to settle down

Schmeichel did his standard trick of standing with his arms at right angles  and fingers crossed and it worked again before the England goal  ...   hopefuuly The Danish are demoralised with the o.g

Delaying taking shots.. sure I’ve seen that somewhere before..

England look to be more on top the more the game goes on - maybe a couple more changes needed to offer something else.?

Fresh legs needed, Sancho for Sterling should be one Sterling is prone to losing it on the edge of the box giving them a break

Denmark look out on their feet already. The fact they've already made 5 subs says it all. Foden, Rashford, Sancho, Bellingham off the bench could be the difference. There for the taking, if England pass up this opportunity they'll only have themselves to blame

Such an enticing bench, not sure what I'd do

Posting so I can be proved wrong later
Henderson>Phillips
Foden>Mount
Sancho>Sterling (maybe not immediately)

If we're going to keep fresh gas in the tank we need to use it.

We have to swap out one of the defensive pair and add a bit of attack in the centre, we are better when we attack

He was never going to take Sterling off. England’s best players for about 3 years. And our biggest threat tonight.

Well that looks like a " we'll defend what we've got" kind of substitution taking Grealish off

Why the hell aren’t they going for a third.?

We have a conservative, pragmatic manager. He’s managed us conservatively, pragmatically all the way to our first final for 55 years. Maybe he knows what he’s doing (I learned to trust after the Germany game!)

How many times in the last 5 mins did we have 3 on 3 in the final third.?  Just me, but go kill the game..

Ultimately it doesn’t matter.  England are in the final.!!!!!

Well, they've come through on the North European side of things, seeing off Germany and the Danes.

Now for the South, Italy having prevailed. I think that was the tougher side of the draw. It's where the quality really was.

But it is at Wembley.

TBF I thought the last 3 minutes were sublime in terms fo game management but overall yes, shouldn't have been that close.

Brilliant possession play near the end though, and Sterling brilliant and denied by brilliant keeper.
