This lack of confidence line with Jones is horse shit. Any issues stem from a lack of experience combined with a lack of ability at this stage in his career. Any confidence issue can only be a byproduct of that.

So you don't believe confidence and a players mental health affects their performance? He is still inexperienced so obviously will make mistakes but other outside of the pitch factors can affect his or any other players performance.

The only way Jones will improve is by playing. He's been sat on the bench and in the stands enough. The trouble is he may not necessarily be at the level needed for a current League 1 team. Its a balancing act
