Omar dropped. Seaman starts. Looks like 451.

Only big Tom from last season’s lineup. It’s going to take me weeks to recognise our own players

Plenty of room for improvement.

Passing was very poor and ponderous in the centre of the park, being caught in possession too often. I'm sure that's an area Wellens will be able to improve pretty quickly.

First time I've seen Close and was a bit disappointed as thought he would be much more assured on the ball.

I think there's much more to come from Matt Smith but not convinced with Gardener.

The lack of familiarity showed with Tom Anderson looking quite vulnerable with few options other than hoofing it.

Barlow looked raw and struggled in that position having to drop deep and cover back. Cuker tried to put a shift in, huffed and puffed but there wasn't much quality ball for him to fees off.

Positives. Keeper looks good. Williams looks competent enough. Knoyle has good pace which wasn't exploited. Charlie Seaman could be a very good player in the making.

Bostock looked assured when he came on and I think Smith and Close will benefit with him in the team.

Really thought there equaliser was offside but the ball should have been cleared before then.

Ref was very poor by being very inconsistent with his decisions.

Overall. Yes, we're behind where we need to be but there were some signs of potential.

Doesn't help that the names in black on the shirts are hard to make out
