Agree with that although Bostock might be fit enough for the bench
What would you go with? I’d go:DahlbergKnoyle Anderson Williams RoweClose Smith GardnerBarlow Bogle CukurJones, Seaman, Horton, Greaves, John, Williams, RavenhillBench is grim but the starting XI isn’t too bad.

I know he doesn’t want to do this, but as Bostock and Close have played very little football in the last few weeks, the safety first option would be to put Rowe into midfield and John at left back.
How he shapes the midfield is the question. None of them are natural holding players. He may play two sitting, for the life of me I wouldn’t know which two he would choose. Close played in a two at Pompey but is far better moving forward. Gardner couldn’t even get in the Wigan side last year when they were awful for most of it. And Smith is someone you want controlling play in the opponents half. Interesting conundrum.
Is that the slowest team we have put out in the modern age?
Agreed that we don%u2019t have much beyond a first eleven.I also agree that Bogle has struggled to make an impact but I fear for what the crowd might do to him (and the team) if they get on his back early doors.
When Bogle came in today a few people near me were taking the piss and catcalling him before he even kicked the ball.I actually thought he did ok in his cameo appearance.A couple of times he held the ball up well under difficult circumstances and made some good runs.I can’t recall anyone getting a ball into the box for him to attack though.
