Wonder if Bogle is trying to initiate a similar deal to Andy Butler.
Quote from: CJK on August 23, 2021, 03:50:23 pmWonder if Bogle is trying to initiate a similar deal to Andy Butler. 100% he wants a pay off, has to.
I'm fairly sure that the board will now step in and support RW.He's done all he can to make ends meet. They won't let him down
This doesn't lie straight with me, yes of course he can see out his contract as is his right, but for him to see it out then retire? OK that's fine, but he still has some kind of duty to put in the effort & give is all to the supporters who actually pay his wages. An ideal world I would play him him every game & any less than 100% effort & commitment should be met with derision by our fans.

I blame Moore & Henshall.
Quote from: Monkcaster_Rover on August 23, 2021, 04:00:44 pmI blame Moore & Henshall. Why do you blame them. What was the criteria for signing of Bogle or any player. The talent identification manager is a thankless task over the last two season. Go out and find the best players you can but they must not want high wages. Go out and look at loans but majority must be free and we don’t want to be paying high payments if they don’t play. So they are hand strung before they start. Why we as a club decided to sign Bogle I’m not sure it definitely appears not to been a good decision but good strikers who have no transfer fee want good wages and we don’t pay that. His record outside of league 2 as been average or below average but did he fit in to the wages we were prepared to pay. Anyway Adam Henshaw did such a bad job he got a job at Aston Villa because of it!! Darren Moore left when we were in the playoffs and close to the top two to go to a bigger club and at the moment he’s been allowed with all the restrictions they had to bring in good league one players if not higher plus loans. They may get out this league this season they’ve made a very good start.

He was the difference between the two teams when we played them.
Quote from: Lesonthewest on August 23, 2021, 09:12:24 pmThis doesn't lie straight with me, yes of course he can see out his contract as is his right, but for him to see it out then retire? OK that's fine, but he still has some kind of duty to put in the effort & give is all to the supporters who actually pay his wages. An ideal world I would play him him every game & any less than 100% effort & commitment should be met with derision by our fans.Nobody knows he is wanting to retire
