Cheer up; Don't fret; It's only a game!

After 1 point from 6 games and 3 consecutive very poor performances it's easy to criticise and find fault in players; the manager; the club. I'm not questioning the validity of some of the points made on here but:

- We've had to sign virtually a whole new team over the summer
- We have had misfortune with injuries
- Due to this misfortune with injuries and Covid disrupting preseason this new team hasn't had sufficient time to gel
- Some of the players due to injuries/necessary late signings are not fully match fit
- We've only had 2 home games from 6 - and 1 of those on opening day when we were hopelessly unprepared
- We've played 4 teams with higher wage budgets full of experienced pros perfect for exploiting our young, injury-ravaged team of relative strangers
- We haven't played anybody in the bottom 11

These excuses won't last for ever but are perfectly valid only 6 games into the season.

But also on a broader point let's remember: -

- To be thankful that we are a stable, sensibly run club full of people who care. Due to this good times are just around the corner always
- We're not plastic Man U fans but proper football supporters who support a proper club. Enduring bad times is part and parcel of this and make the good times all the more sweet. There is really no need for meltdown.

All the best

A Happy Clapper
