Greavesy certainly isn’t shy in putting a tackle in and he played well there last term. The irony is AJ Greaves could be precisely what we need in midfield but it’d be a maturer version of his current self - a ball winner, unspectacular type which we’re crying out for

Yeah maybe Olowu would be more solid looking. I was expecting big things when I read about the signing of Ro-Shaun, former sprint champion etc, sounded exactly what we needed. Looking back I thing there was a fair amount of propaganda in that article, it never mentioned Shrewsbury hadn’t offered him a new contract. Looks really unsteady on his feet to me. Maybe at right back he’d be under less pressure.

RW has said that Taylor is 50/50 whether he will be in the squad or not so doesn’t look like he will start at all which I thought would be the case. He’s also debating whether to move Rowe further forward because of how much we’ve been struggling to score goals so could see Horton at LB and Rowe in the midfield 3.

I reckon Williams is fit. I think he got the hook because he lost his man at the corner. Commentators on ifollow said he ran off, you don't run off with a bad hamstring.

Oluwu will get a run at centre back now.

Depends if RW wants to put Williams at Right Back. Personally I'd give the young lad Hasani a go.

Not sure Albrighton, Foster and Little get into that team. All very good players in the 4th tier but do not think they would be much cop in the 2nd tier.
The other 8 yes all would hold their own in the 2nd tier comfortably.
I never saw Laurie Sheffield or King Alick play but obviously Alick was of that standard and higher but i am assuming LS would have been 2nd tier standard. Did he play for Norwich in the 2nd tier?  I assume he must have although Norwich were in Div 3 South i think in the late 50’s.

RW to get a hold of our DVD of the "never say die" match against Brentford .and let them see what its like to play to the end whistle then give them the same colour shirts as that match for saturday .and RW say GO GET AT THEM .PLAY YOUR HEARTS OUT FOR DRFC!

I said on here at the time of Williams' signing that it looked unimpressive. I read somewhere that the Shrews hadn't offered him a new contract, and that some of their fans said he couldn't pass, and had mistakes in him.

To be fair I thought Williams had his best game for us on Tuesday, especially first half. I also like the look of Owulu when played. For those reasons I'd go with 3 at the back with Bostock just in front & Rowe further forward.

Wouldn’t mind that team. Hiwula in for Dodoo though for me.

Don’t think we’ll see 3 at the back though and it could be a disaster if we haven’t played it much because players really need to know the system.
