Dinner Party List
« on October 24, 2021, 12:38:08 am by Bentley Bullet »
Just picked up on an interesting subject from a poster on the football forum. If you were to invite say three people to a dinner party from this forum, who would you invite?

Only three?
I’d like to invite:
Billy (but he wouldn’t see the invite because he’s pretending to block me)
Then Bentley and Hound
And Sydney

But so many more…

Look, I may have been a little hasty there bp, so I will check to see if I can tempt Syd/2 out with a promise of 1920's vaudeville interspersed with adventures in poly pipe greywater, although I'm sure my dance card is full that night you never know, aye?

if it's mandatory

"big fat yorkshire pudding"  is a no go'er for obvious reasons

for cost cutting "to the letter"  .. got to be red jay and janso for starters

I'm thinking rather than leave anyone out, everyone on the forum should get around to the Bullet residence, it's the Club Doncaster/socialist way to do it.

I would n’t fancy leaving my car unattended on a street in Bentley

Just leave your engine running while you drop off those with invites.

This made me chuckle.

I'd be cheap btw, the usernames ironic, I'm 10 stone dead and 5ft6.

BST & BB.

That's it.

I'd utter the words 'Jeremy Corbyn' and let them 2 go at it for hours.

If anyone came to a dinner party here in Scawsby, they'd obviously have to be vetted first, to keep the riff-raff out.

BST and BB will be high on the list because they are opinionated and don't hold back.

I think I'd go for BST because I think not only does he talk the talk he walks the walk and he likes electronic music, Rob the Rover because he likes good music and good trainers and Albie because he is an optimist and a green. We'd get along fine. BB would chuck a hand grenade into proceedings. Which is fair enough but I wouldn't want dinner to become a big argument.

It's usually BST who throws the hand grenade at me. I just remove the pin and chuck it back.

I would enjoy dinner with BB, Nudga and Normal Rules to get a completely different perspective.

I’d invite some of our ‘Missing in Action’ forum members to see how they’re doing:

Mr Frost (and his Dad)
Mr Croft
Thinwhiteduke
Oslo Rovers
Snods Shinpad
The LJ Monk
Longbridge Rover
Albert Trousers
Carling (purely for entertainment purposes)
Juicyberry
