Dodoo put away a very good finish against Cheltenham.

Just beat me to it.

Sunderland losing again tonight.
If it stays like that it will be five straight defeats in league and cups.

Maybe he's one of these players who finds it easier to keep his composure when we're already winning.

His goal against Cheltenham was the first of the match.

Could have been 3-3, as Scunny had a goal disallowed in the 92 min. Referee ordered a re-take of a free kick. Phew!

Wouldn’t have counted - the linesman flagged the “scorer” offside before the ref pulled it back to retake.

He did but took two forward players off. A bit of a disappointment for Jones and the defenders but all in all a good result with all the youngsters playing! Nice to score a few goals!

Who impressed?

They all had a good game to be fair. Jones had little to do.
Blythe is worthy of more starts for sure.
Dodoo took his goals very well.
Rowe was his usual solid self.
They will be disappointed with not keeping a clean sheet.
As the commentator said up to 88  mins it had been a comfy composed performance.

Just seen a positive comment about Hasani on Twitter. How did he do?

All the young lads did well to be fair.
Horton continued where he left off on Saturday and Blythe was quality.
Hasani looked like he had been a regular rather than making his first start for us.
Matt Smith had one of his best games for us too.
Edit.
I forgot to mention Kuleya, the young striker.
He contributed well and set up the first goal.

All played well the young uns didn’t look out of place. Pity we couldn’t keep a clean sheet. Jones did nothing wrong other than put a goal kick into touch - quite funny when another looked like it was going out and he got some stick only for it to be inch perfect - think Louis let his feelings be known

Cannot believe the idiots in our away following were taking the piss out of Louis from early doors tonight. And RD Said let them know, and quite rightly when one that looked as though it was going out didn't and was headed out for a throw in to us.

The same idiots were still singing peado at their keeper. Absolute embarrassment

... yes I smiled at that myself

Some were shouting "pass it to Wellens" etc - what is it with certain players getting heckled by their own fans

I was reminded of Etheridge getting panned for his 1st interview after signing on - and coming on as a Sub to boos from dug out to South Stand nets.

I shouldn't be getting this frustrated by these 'fans' but I am. Boils my piss.

On Etheridge I'll never forget the look on his face when some fat lump screamed at him that he was "f**king useless" after the first half at Accrington. Could literally see his heart break. Never recovered.

Played well as a unit tonight, All the young lads put a very good shift in granted against a struggling team. Special praise i think should go to Husani who looked very assured and in control on his full debut, think he has great potential and will get more game time.

Only downer on the night was taking our foot off the pedal at the end and letting then get the two late goals, lack of concentration or fatigue kicking in, who knows? but it really needs addressing asap as it will undo good work achieved in other matches with a better level of opponent.

Which every way you look at it RW has achieved progress tonight.

Fair play to Richie for leaving his subs till so late in the game. He must have known what the potential drop off could be and didn’t want to risk losing the game. Subtle but good decision making.
