they sold 1050 tickets but only about 300 turned up!

He’s a total enigma. The guy has some ability to generate an initial burst of success but then very quickly tails off into dull and unproductive football. He always appears totally removed and distant from what is actually happening. I just cannot imagine him engendering any bond with or between his players. Then there is his communication style. A mystery.

Weird that they fold after going behind. Under Moore we were great at staying professional and coming from behind to get a result. Did so quite a few times. I wonder if having proper pros like Copps and Butler around had a bigger influence on that squad than we thought.

I think you're forgetting the effect Ben Whiteman had. The drop off in quality/results this year makes you realise just how good he is and how much we actually relied on him.

I think we stayed in games cos we had Big Tom at his imperious best, throwing his body and face into every block. Then we had Taylor Richards coming up with a moment of magic at the other end to steal the points.

When Moore left we were 6th in the table in Feb 2021. Virtually all this season we have languished in the drop zone with Wellens. So let's take the mickey out of a better manager and club.  Pity we don't put as much effort into getting our own house in order.
