F*cking hell, and we think our defence is bad.

You get the feeling even if Bolton had reverted to type and not turned up, the Stockport defence would still have found a way to concede.

The first goal was bad enough, but the next 2 were too comical almost to be true.

This is a good watch. Bolton’s defence looks as bad as ours.

2-3 now. If Stockport had a defence they'd be 2-0 up.

Bad defending aside. If we play like Stockport when we face Lincoln i'd be over the moon. Bear in mind this side are in the NL and Bolton are in our league. Just shows it can be done. Tempo, movement and commitment. Really enjoyable to watch.

I wonder if they swop the name of the stands around to confuse the opposition.

I agree a good watch. Why can’t we play the simple game with vigour as County are doing.

Because : (pick your own excuse that usually gets trotted out as to why we can't play like a non league side like Stockport - as applicable)

a) Wellens is new to the job and still learning, despite taking Swindon up the other year
b) Wellens doesn't have the budget
c) Wellens has an injury crisis
d) The ref was shit
e) It's a rebuilding job

What's the betting that this game ends 3-2? Always happens when you get a crazy first half with loads of goals.

3-3

Good job i'm not a betting man.

Awesome game though. Massive credit to Stockport. Full of pride and sheer will to win. Anyone care to bottle it and let the likes of Cukur, Dodoo and Hiwula have a drink?

Kachunga probably learned that dive from his pals in the Premier League.

watched ten minutes too much of it and decided there would be no goals so switched it  off

thought i would be a clever sod and tell you all there was a place in Austalia called Kachunga

checked my facts and the place is called Katunga

Katunga is a town in the Goulburn Valley region of northern Victoria, Australia. The town is located in the Shire of Moira local government area

but Lenny Henry used to say Katanga

Kachunga Katunga Katanga   ffs how many more variations do we have

I’ve only been watching from the 58th minute so can’t comment on what went on before then, but I have been impressed with Stockport.
They are playing with passion and no mean skill.
I have enjoyed what I have seen and really hope they can win this now.

Cracking cup tie.

Stockport look a very good team and making Bolton look poor.
Or are they poor. Going through a sticky spell at the moment.

Maybe a good time to be playing them next week.

Notice Sam Hird not there tonight. ( Bolton assistant manager )  Been told he maybe self isolating due to one of his family having tested positive for Covid.

How has Quigley spent almost all his career in the National League.
Barrow and now Stockport.  Wish we had him.

Pleased to have caught this game, Some great moves from Stockport in the latter part of the second half. I guess Bolton are tired, played every week for a while maybe?

Well our supporters say our young players should play in the National League they wouldn’t get in the Stockport side who are eleventh. In fact some of the first team would not. Well played they caused Bolton defense more problems than we will.

Will they be too tired to play our game next week?
