Until the transfer window opens - hopefully we have players lined up early in the window

Yes, and hopefully they'll be better than the ones Wellens and Younger lined up in the last window.

Dream on.

Havn’t we got to move players out first? Because we all know that we have too big a squad!

The only way we stay up is by getting in 4 or 5 good LG 1 players and that will cost a bit so can’t see it happening so LG 2 bound it is I’m afraid lads

First player I’d go for is Matt godden as he won’t be first choice any more at cov and will score at this level

I don’t want Richie to bring in any player that will not improve the squad. Do not accept second or third best because that suits the money we have. If they are not good enough Richie you will be blamed not the hierarchy. The club won’t say anything they didn’t last season which leaves the manager gets blame.

I thought that Bogle has a contract to the end of the season.

I thought that Bogle has a contract to the end of the season.
He does so the only way we will get him off our wage bill is to pay him off which I believe that’s what he is waiting for.

I don't know, no doubt one of you will know.

Who are we contractually obliged to release back to their parent club in January?

Who will end their contract with DRFC at the end of this season?

Who, and without wanting to start a firestorm, do you think is likely to be offered the chance to continue their career at another club? Either in January or at the conclusion of this season.

And finally, as this is the last throw of the dice this season,  would the idea of recruiting two or three journeymen players to steady the ship work? experienced players who will work hard and pull some of the younger players along by the scruff of the neck. Players for whom football is their life and the longer they are playing for them the better.

I agree that is probably the case mate but paying up his contract isn’t really offloading the heavy financial baggage that is Bogle is it.
