Fej surgery
« on November 26, 2021, 12:28:00 am by Canadian Rover »
Just seen on Twitter Fej has had achilles surgery. For all the Wellens out/Board stuff I'd like to take a thread where we can wish him well.

I guess we all hope to see him back at the Keepmoat sometime scoring goals for DRFC.

I'm guessing that's him out for the season at least.

I hope he recovers and get himself fit again. It is a shame it has taken so long to have this surgery. This as been a problem before the start of the season from initially tendinitis to a slight tear in his Achilles. It appears it as been diagnosed correctly now and he can move on with his recovery.

Wishing him a speedy recovery he’s been missed this season.
Not sure if this prolongs the latest guesstimate of when he is back as it mentions a tear rather than ruptured Achilles

I’m sure he is more frustrated than we are, most footballers want to play and not sit around.

Hopefully his contract won't run out before he gets to play for us again.

Tweet he did himself shows him on a hospital bed from the operation he’s had this week so talking to the press would be his last thought

fair point, but I meant in the weeks prior to the op. Would have been a good column filler for the DFP I reckon.

I expect it’s a case of “ Your were limping on the other leg yesterday fej”

Who’d have thought he’d have surgery just to run his contract down
