Just treated myself to an Avid Actus Reference Mono SP turntable along with a pair of Gold Note XS-85 Floorstanders.Banging sound while I relax in the hot tub.Can I ask you a personal question, are you American? It’s the ‘jargon’ you use leads me to ask.Mebbies just a frustrated one eh dude.
Far too much snake oil bubbling around the audiophile hobby…I have all formats of music ( 96GB of digital downloads plus around 400 CDs) however I much prefer the absolute intimacy of vinyl…..Cyrus Lyric 09 systemAudio Technica turntableRiga MK3 phono preampDynaudio emit m20 speakers
For those who have a passion for vinyl I suggest looking up Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab and have a read at their background and processes for producing the highest fidelity audio from original recordings. They also now do digital product alongside the vinyl.
