Oh my word. Xmas is coming early.

Reports are another video is about to be released of that mock press conference, where they joke about how many children Johnson has fathered.
Here’s hoping you get what you deserve for Christmas.

May it would be easier to see what the government has been doing when not partying.

I want to know who took the picture and why they've "leaked" it.

From the angle it's taken from, it looks like it was taken from the Chancellor's private office.

In case you missed it, the bloke to the right of Johnson, waving his arms in the air, is his private secretary.

Who among other things last week was been organising the inquiry into the alleged parties at No10 during lockdown...

Also why would his then Girlfriend, (future wife) be at a business meeting, what are those two doing sat on the grass near the corner of the building, shouldn’t they be involved inthe business discussions?

Raab says it's alright because the No10 staff were working very hard and needed to unwind. By drinking wine. In the garden. In the middle of the day. While working.

The implication being that the rest of us weren't working hard and therefore didn't deserve to meet up and drink in the garden while working.

Of course, that's the Raab who wrote a book calling English workers bone idle layabouts.

Just one other thought. It's written into the contracts of my staff that drinking at work is gross misconduct. But apparently it's fine for the people who run the country.

It didn't much look like a business meeting to me .

It looked like it was , a nice hot afternoon and everyone enjoying
a drink in the garden .

I've no problem with that because politics isn't a 9 to 5 job .

The problem is no other chuffa was allowed to have large gatherings in their back garden on a warm afternoon back then .

Thing is. I understand that running the country is a hard, stressful job. I get that. It's the lack of appreciation from Raab that maybe other people have hard, stressful jobs that gets me. Read what he's said today and the implication is clear. We were allowed to break the rules. You weren't.

Two days before the Downing Street 'business meeting' in the garden, Johnson was asked by a member of the public if he was allowed to meet friends in a park. This is what Johnson said

Here's Dominic Rabb's take on the garden party meeting....

https://twitter.com/KayBurley/status/1472844792790978562

Why would someone go out on a limb to make themselves look totally stupid in defence of the buffoon that is Johnson? They're all wearing suits. Really?

So according to Raab.

1)It was a business meeting.
2) They were having a drink AFTER the formal business had ended.

So in the space of 100 seconds, he's flatly contradicted himself and admitted that it was a gathering that broke the rules.

But it's acceptable because they were working hard. Whereas Raab, in his own words, thinks the rest of us are slackers.

Strange times. I'm actually wishing we'd had a PM like Thatcher over the past two years.
