Game management starts with the manager and who he brings on not good enough

Game management starts with the manager and who he brings on not good enough

Give over, we all know the squad isn’t good enough, 3 injuries to our best 3 players in the first half and we’ve nothing on the bench
Still to loose after been 3-0 at half time !
Shocking and we are down if we don’t beat fleetwood as we will loose next 8 after that

When we look back this is the day we got relegated

airbrush out of history the fact 3 players went off injured

So what? We shouldn't be so reliant on Omar Bogle and Dan Gardner to actually hold together a cohesive 11 players. 3-0 up, there's no excuse.

Tell that fat lady to stop singing forcryingoutloud!

C’mon guys ya gotta laugh, it’s games like these that remove the false hope and signal in a new Dawn…….we are not a team that can put together a good enough run to give ourselves a chance……at least the manager can release a few now knowing 110% that they are just not good enough, and weren’t just playing bad for RW!

8 out of the starting 11 still on the pitch. Should be enough to see a game out.

Great first half to be fair. And some attacking intent.

My first thought when we went 3-0 up was fearing that club management begin to think strengthening in this window isn't quite as urgent as first thought.  I needn't have worried.

Absolutely devastating. You just can't make it up as injury, after injury puts pressure on the skeleton of a team we have left with the youngsters exposed.

Well that full time score was as unexpected as the half time score.

Things started to go wrong once Dodoo came on for Bogle and there was no one holding the ball up so it just came back time and time again.

This will have a deep impact on morale within the team, let alone the supporters. I cannot see how we can save ourselves from relegation if we can not defend a 3 nil lead.

Anyway onwards and hopefully upwards but it’s hard to take today. On to Saturday

Give over, we all know the squad isn’t good enough, 3 injuries to our best 3 players in the first half and we’ve nothing on the bench

He could have brought on Williams for Barlow instead Cukur, pushing Rowe further forward & making the defence look more solid, so yes he did have something on the bench.

How fit is Williams?

Williams is a few weeks off being fit, he wanted to keep the sesame shape obviously, it was working.
He obviously didn’t think the 3 subs would be so bad.

But that first half was the best we’ve played all
Season so we’re still in with a shout.
The signings this next couple of weeks are massive

Morecambe 79/1 on Betfair. Draw 16.5/1

Did you?

I did, cashed out on us at 1-3.

Oh forget to mention at half time Rover were an amazing 1.07    that is 14/1 on to win when you would expect 50/1 ON
with any "normal team"

So the odds were wrong to hedge THEN  ..   Morecambe should have been much bigger odds 150/1 or 200/1  - but once their first goal went in as you say that was the time to act   inspired by the ACCURATE doomster predictions on here of what was going to happen.

But at 1-3 it wasn't working so surely bringing on Williams even for the last half hour would have better than bringing on Cukur, poor decision by the management.

Hasani would have been better than Cukur.
