Begs the question how can clubs like Fleetwood manage it, & we can't (Marquis, Whiteman). Answers on a postcard.

Because our whole organisation is shambolic. Sounds worse than when I worked for the council in the 1990s

Do we spend money on a 6 month loan deal for an experienced L1 striker or do we attempt to get ahead of the L2 competition and sign someone ready for next season (with the benefit of 6 months at a higher level for the player)?

Of course, we'll do neither and sign someone who ticks neither box and isn't up to the required standard.

Just shows what a little bit of ambition by the Fleetwood board gets you ! Sign him and he scores ! Ain’t rocket science is it !

What did we do when we sold players for over £1m?

Because they've just received over a million for a player they've sold to Bournemouth!!

I suppose we have little to no leverage, and that's why we're stuck waiting for platers. Who wants to potentially further damage their reputation by coming to us?

Again, what did we do with the money from the sale of Marquis and Whiteman other than make excuses about it being received in instalments?

Unlike Fleetwood we weren't in a relegation battle when we sold them.

Their reputation is the least of their worries. With our inability to manage a players fitness it could be their careers

So you can only spend money when you're in a relegation battle? Odd.

Newcastle are in the crap with a load of £ available and only managed to fetch Tripper in so far , the January transfer window is always a complicated one.I appreciate were desperate but lets see where we are at the end of next week

Correct. It's almost as if you can't undo several years of poor transfer business in one January transfer window.

Exactly, we sell ours & don't replace them at all.

I don't know any other club that would sell their prize asset & not replace them, whether they're in a relegation battle or not. It's another part of the reason why we are where we are.

Shame on you Fleetwood, you should have spent the money elsewhere.

How did the money brought in from the Marquis and Whiteman deals improve the infrastructure of our club. What has improved since then?.

You would like to think it should always continue to build the playing squad rather than infrastructure.

Given that 2 substantial players were lost.

The Whiteman money went towards keeping the club solvent during a pandemic.

This is a fair question as everything seems to be a shambles.
