Questions from my parents, both season ticket holders, neither have a smart phone.

Are Covid passes going to be needed for entry to all home games? Even those where attendance will be below 10,000 (i.e. most games)

They've both received paper Covid passes through the post just for use at the Rovers (took over a week to arrive) however they say they're only valid for 30 days. Will they have to have renewed, current passes to gain entry to the ground?

Thanks in advance

They weren’t needed last home game, I guess under current guidelines they probably would for the Wendies and Rotherham

Is it not based on the ground capacity being over 10k rather than the slim chance we will have of a crowd over 10k in the ground

They would need a refreshed one. I believe they could get a text message ?

If it was Sars wouldn’t we have needed them last week?

Can't they just say they're tennis players?

BR  I am assuming you have a smartphone or iPhone: if you have the NHS app on your phone then you can use it to set up and therefore access both your parents’ NHS accounts, which includes being able to generate covid passes. You can then either save the passes as screenshots on the phone in order to show at the turnstile, or if you have a printer at home print off paper copies instead which your parents can bring with them to the game.
I did this for my elderly mum when we went to the panto over Xmas. Her pass runs out on the 22nd Jan so I will just go back into her NHS account using the NHS app on my phone ( I have her login details) and generate a new pass  for the next month or so.
In that way you’re not otherwise waiting for the passes to arrive through the post.
Cheers

The only time you will need your COVID pass again this season will be against wendies.

Fair point. I just showed mine when going through the turnstile. But the steward didn't seem to bothered so maybe its not needed unless there is an expected crowd above 10k
