If anyone else has a sore throat, or in fact any other kind of minor ailment, I have a simple, yet effective remedy.
1) Apply a liberal quantity of Deep Heat to your index finger.
2) Shove that finger up your bottom, as far as you can.
In won’t cure what ails you, but it’ll certainly take your mind off it.

I have a very rude, but funny(though painful at the time) deep heat experience that I might share.

In my youth I was 'in bed' with this girl, whom I'd just met, and we'd been at it for some time.

Things were drying up, so she said she had some KY jelly under the bed.

I reached under, found this tube and smeared all over myself.
It was deep heat, which she had under there as well.
It felt like somebody had aimed a blowlamp at my todger.
