Strange but true. Yesterday was the final meet of the year for a group have joined - all of us are writing memoirs and reading them out. I had to choose between two I had written, one on wargaming experiences and one I was leaning towards - a story at University of an eccentric mathematician friend who started doing everyday things in base 12, which he called 'dozenry'. It had a funny conclusion but I was wary of having to explain Base 12 to the audience. Then Wordle's 6 letter daily word yesterday was 'dozens'. The story was well understood and a big success
