Same here Mike, would have failed if my last entry was a real word. Then saw the right word.

What the hell is happening in Cleethorpes? Thorne WMC OAP outing to the seaside?
Most people are at their happiest when leaving Cleethorpes!!
Merry Xmas everyone.
I've got my 92 year old Mother in Law (aka the Mood Hoover) coming for a couple of days.
Don't suppose you've got a spare seat on the bus Wolfie? One way ticket too!

Think it’s a form seasonal of self flagellation (is that a word?) Mug.
Pays back his sins once a year.
It’s either Cleethorpes or a hair shirt.

When I had my Dog Jet it was the tradition to go Xmas Day .

Now 3rd Christmas without him but we go still as a pilgrimage but also with no Parents /mood Hoovers ( lol ) and never had kids so none of them or Grandkids it's a very quiet day unless we go out

A long walk , pint in Willy's , just the one and er that's it really

I will STARE out to Spurn and think bugger , my start Word nearly came up

Jet was a Black Lab who amazingly got to just 2 weeks of his 19th Birthday , being born just 2 weeks after Stoke

That is an amazing age for a Labrador. I'm sure you had some great walks together.
My friends had a Black Lab who lived till 14. They live in Edinburgh, where, at 1pm, they fire a cannon at the Castle so the locals know what time it is. Poor George (an alleged 'gundog' with KC papers), used to literally shit himself through fright. Every day.
So my mates had to make sure one of them was home at 1pm everyday to let him out. They could never go out on New Years Eve, they had to stay home and play loud music to mask the sound of fireworks.
I've always been a catman myself and currently own 2, have a neighbour's cat who lives with us and I also feed Chucky, the local stray cat. I go to Sainsbury'sand spend £60 and £50 of that is on chuffing Cat food/treats/litter etc.

Sounds like a good way to spend Christmas day Wolfie. Say hello to my Uncle Sperm (Head)

Mug I’m a cat person too. Alwas had one.
Our current cat is 9 and the best of the lot.
He loves to ambush me when I’m least expecting it, the little bas**rd.

God knows why I love cats. They all have evil hidden  within them.
The cute, furry ball, purring as it presses itself into your thigh, can turn in microseconds into a snarling, bitey devil that unsheaths it's scythers to draw blood because you have the nerve to get up to go to toilet.
And when you come back from the loo, only a fool would try and move the snoring furball that's now curled up in the nice, warm spot on the settee you vacated a couple of mins previously.
And there's the vomit. Oceans of vomit. One second they're eating, the next vomiting, the minute after that, yowling for food. And not the food you put down. That's shite food that is.
And you're always hungover when they flick their poo out of the litter tray. Fortunately, 99% of the time you spot it, but that 1% of the time you step in it? Well that's when you remember how much fun hopping is.

Wow , I bet that 1 o clock gun really freaked him out. Poor bugger

My lad was not a pure Bred lab , but rather one of those Black Lab type Mongrels.

He was brilliant and loved Clee but yesterday we had a great surprise finding a Swan on Boating Lake which was born and raised 100 yards from my House in Thorne

When parents eventually chase them off , that's it , you rarely see them again if ever but this one was reported as living on a Reservoir near Market Rasen and photo confirmed it was 5Y87

Yesterday passing the Boating Lake I went for a look in case any of my "ex Cygnets" were there and boom . Only 5Y87.

Made my Christmas Day
