Anyone know roughly how many were in the away end today?
We’ve beaten the third (MK Dons) and fourth (Sunderland) placed teams in the space of two weeks.

When was the last time we played in front of a crowd that size? Wembley?Arsenal away in the cup maybe, or West Ham.That Arsenal game was tiny. I think it is still their lowest ever competitive gate. We’ve only played West Ham with a gate, at the old place which didn’t hold 39,000.Yeah, i forgot that the last West Ham game was behind closed doors but thought that there were about 40,000 at the Emirates.

Some clubs have games in hand though. It's as good as 9 points with the goal difference, CBCB. We'll never make that amount up.A proper ray of sunshine, as ever. What the f*ck are you talking about? Quote from: PDX_Rover on February 05, 2022, 05:25:30 pmWell.... I *almost* posted yesterday that the most Rovers thing to do would be to go there and win and put on a brilliant performance. But I thought it too outrageous to dare think about it.There was nothing lucky about that win. It wasn't a smash and grab. What I saw today was a team together, working really hard for each other, with a game plan and absolute discipline. From back to front, Rovers were outstanding today. Mitchell didn't put a foot wrong - excellent command and made the saves he needed to. The back three of Willaims, Oluwu and Younger were resolute and really well-organized. Matt Smith just gets better. He and Rowe chased everything. We won more second balls today than I've seen in ages. Charlie Seaman is some player, by the way. I've been impressed by him from day one and I hope he's tied to a decent length contract. Rowe was superb today. Here. There. Every-f**king-where.... The new left back - streets ahead of Horton. Night and day. Sorry Brandon. And the front three were fantastic. Reo took his goal well but all three tracked back and got stuck in. Martin is a great asset in that free role. He made things happen today. Still a bit lightweight at times and needs quicker decision making but he's some player.Hard to pick a MOM from a great team performance but I have to choose Mitchell - after Tuesday, what a way to come back. We kick on from that I hope. Massive credit to Gary, Frank and Glyn Hodges - excellent stuff. I think, in 47 years watching Rovers, given the circumstances, the injuries, the number of new players brought in, that's in my top 10 games. In your top 10 games in 47 years. That’s some statement PDX Well done to all those who went today. How many did go, do you know?

We don't get much of it in Donny, I can tell you.
There cannot be many sides that we have as good an away record against. Last five league away games at Fratton Park has delivered 3 wins and 2 draws. We haven’t lost there since 2011.

Our problem has been that though, building on it. Wins are like the few remaining shops open on Hallgate. Surrounded by dross and despair. Hope we can change this!
Things stacking up against us, a team smarting from their last result, a good home record, new men in charge for the game and us having just been completely outclassed, and apart from a win 60 odd years ago in a cup shock and a solitary point gained in all our league fixtures in the past up there, we have been well beaten even when we have had a good team. A surprise 2-1 win then.

How did Jackson play? Have to say I was so glad to see Horton dropped
Brilliant result. What a confidence booster that should be. Have to win v Ipswich and Pompey and we can believe in the miracle.I know we are 99% down but it’s that 1% that kills you.
