Of all the tough games we faced / face in this horrendous run of fixtures, this game was the one in which i thought we had the best chance of winning. Feels surreal now saying we've already beaten MK and Sunderland away. No reason why we can't beat Ipswich but given our propensity to play well and then chuck in something utterly abject the next game, i can't be parting with any cash for us to win this. Maybe a high scoring draw?
The mood was so downbeat before the run of games against the better sides started, that many were struggling to see where we got even a point. As it is as mentioned above we’ve beaten Mk Dons and Sunderland, that to me is a bit of pride back, and an inkling of a chance of staying up. It can all flip flop and we lose again, don’t think, that I think that we’ve cracked the code and it’s going to be nothing but wins. It just looks a little healthier, the gap to safety. When have you known our club to do it the easy way?, it’s very rarely boring following rovers.
