Such a shame that a young guy has died, at least he was doing what he loved playing rugby. RIP fella

Real shame that a young lad playing sport today can end up dead.

A not unconnected incident happened in the rugby union on sat in the Italy v England match, Jack Nowell sustained a suspected head injury and the officials managed to mess up the HIA protocols, allowing him to come back onto the field when he should of been sent for the HIA assessment, eventually he went off and subsequently failed his HIA assessment and was replaced. Could this have been more serious, could he have had a delayed concussion with all the implications that follow.

Scary that their own protocols they put in place for player safety can be mishandled at this top level for the sport.
