It’s a shame Copps didn’t want to go into management (got more sense ?). It would have been interesting to see what he could have achieved. But would he be too much of a ‘nice guy’ to succeed?
Guess we’ll never know.

Nope I can't think of anything positive to say except it's still 0-0. They had the better of it and Mitchell kept us in it.

We have nothing down the wings and nothing anywhere in the final third. Peno from Gardner or a shot from distance it is then.

We started with a fairly high line, but have retreated as the half wore on. These high balls up to a lone Griffiths are no use at all with Nottingham and his mate dealing with them with no problem at all. They certainly like to hoof it up into our box, and unless we get further upfield, get the ball down and play some footy, the inevitable will happen. We're just not big enough collectively to deal with that aeriel bombardment.
