Sh1t shirt
« on May 27, 2022, 04:01:38 pm by Monkcaster_Rover »
Afternoon,

Off on a good mate of mines Stag Do in a couple of week and we're having to do an obligatory 'Shit shirt night'

I'd like to go equipped with a dated Rovers one if such a thing exists from years gone by. Not even sure if such a thing exists so could be pissing in the wind!

However - if one does I'd be happy to pay if someone is willing to part with theirs. Cheers!

East Riding Sacks shirt would be ideal but I can’t see many owning up to having one

I could be wrong but, shit or shite shirts was a brand that made like mish mash shirts, have you got the right end of the stick ?

Pretty sure Gary Anderson used to wear one in the darts

After the season we've just had, does the current shirt qualify?

Might not have explained it too well!

I'm after a like smart buttoned up shirt which Rovers may have released in years gone by thinking it looked good.

Failing that just any form of buttoned up football shirt which looks crap would do me!

I have what's left of an old away shirt we cut up for masks in the early days of covid, might even still have one of the masks.

Took mine ,(away one) to Wembley to "fly" in car on way home to stick 2 fingers up to Richardson .... emphasising what he had done and where were now without him

Immediately afterwards I stuck it on ebay and got 77 quid

Changing topic but regarding kit, the son-in-law, paramedic and mad football fan attended the Barca-A-League game the other night and was paid to watch the game, sat next to the players tunnel. Apart from handing a out few panadol there was nothing to do but watch the game. At the end the Barca coach him gave his track top and the team went around giving them memorabilia and chatted to them briefly, he said they were really nice, what a great story for football.

That fetching little number from the early 90s that had the hoops etched by what looked like a red cardiograph would surely qualify?!
