It's an amazing stat but not a bad thing.

The last French or US President not to leave and enter office through an election?

Being able to remove our political leaders mid-term if they lose public support through poor behaviour, poor performance or poor policy is a major strength of our constitution and UK democracy

10's of millions of people vote a US or French President into office (unless a sitting one dies).

c100 000 people have voted the past two and will the next PM into office.

Personaly I feel a new constitution is long overdue.

How many have come in mid term and not won the next election?  Brown is the only one I can think of, May and Johnson retained power post elections.
