New Rovers Podcast
« on August 06, 2022, 12:11:55 pm by VivaRovers »
Something to listen to ahead of the match today, a new season preview episode of the podular STAND podcast.

I'm joined by Adam Stubbings of ITEN and long-time fanzine contributor Mike Follows to look over pre-season preparations, new faces, and what 2022-23 might have in store for Rovers. And I also welcome another familiar fanzine contributor Jack Peat to offer up some food and drink tips for the away games at Wimbledon and Northampton.

You can listen here, or find it on whatever platform you usually listen to podcasts on by searching for 'podular STAND' (note 'pod' not 'pop')

Listened to it this morning. Very good. Yes much more optimism about this season and it’s good to listen to some positivity.
No one is getting carried away that we are going to walk this league (even though I have predicted we will be top  )  We won’t get much of a picture until well into October imo but I do think if we don’t get any more long term injuries and can get Close and Taylor back fit within a couple of months, then we have a great chance.

It’s 48 minutes well spent. People don’t half eat and drink some crap at football.

I think this is praise, but it's 66 minutes long.

A great listen gentlemen. A very good reflection of where we hope we are at the moment. Unless we are very poor judges, I think we are heading in the right direction.

Nuanced takes? Can't be having that in relation to football nowadays!
(in seriousness, an excellent listen, it flew by.)
