The league cup is really nothing worth getting upset about

The extra coffers would help. And a winning mentality breeds more wins. Creates positivity.  Something that has been in very short supply in the last 18 months.

Some of our fan base are an embarrassment

Not sure if you are including my comment in your assessment scooter but we very rarely progress in cup competitions do we.
I am only quoting the obvious.

I think he's referring to the nobs who ran on the pitch!

Ah, cheers Baz, sorry scooter, I’m not at the match and didn’t know about the pitch invasion.

Seems unlikely given it goes straight to penalties in the EFL Cup, until the semi finals and final.

Lol  you mean the ones that tell it how it is, rather than the ones who think these performances are ok. Change the record it's embarrassing.

Well the doom mongers have had a while to wait but they’ll all be out tonight

It was only a matter of time due to the fact that we have been extremely lucky in the first two games of the season. Without a big upturn in performance level this weekend we will get beat again.

It's too soon for that but no doubt there will be plenty around.

As always you have to look for the point at which more reasonable fans feel it's for the best to change then the tide starts turning and it's no longer "doom mongering" and just good sense. GM won't have long till we reach this point given we're a L2 team now and want to get back quickly. And when you think of what he served up last year.

He's got 10 league games from me to turn us round performance wise. Not so bothered about the results initially

Results are more important than performances, if we’d played superbly the first two games but got beat there would be hell on, on here.

There’s not many of you, but you’re predictable with your negativity.
We won the league one title not long ago by being outplayed most weeks.

Would probs agree with this. 10 or so is reasonable given the dross last season.

Yeah they'd be hell on here by certain posters. But anyone who knows anything would be fairly happy we can see a route to been a proper team. At the moment a win here or there playing like we did on Saturday just feels like a short term reprieve from results like tonight.

The team will look a lot different on Saturday. For starters Rowe & Miller will be back in, Hurst will likely start, Long and Anderson should replace Oluwu and Williams plus I would start Ravenhill over Biggins.
Long looked very good and should start on Saturday.

Do we know why Ravenhill was brought off? was he particularly bad or just tactical will them all as bad as each other?

Thought it might be related to his yellow card but could be wrong.

League 1 title, not playing like this we didn't. No negativity here, just a truthfully opinion.

We did
Most weeks we had less possession than the opposition but stayed in games and nicked wins.

There were some boos in the south stand at half time on Saturday mate.
Not much but I was in the corner and I clearly heard it.

Fair dos mate,
I’m next to dugout and I specifically listened for any boos but couldn’t here anything other than for the ref
