Regardless of his position he's shown us nothing to suggest he's capable of playing at the level we require. It's probably a loan option because nobody would take him permanently.

If we cant get a better full back than Knoyle on the money we are prepared to spend then i would keep him.

When he played at Maidstone he was always in an midfield attacking role. If Knoyles injury keeps him out for a while we need a better right back.
Knoyle will be fine, he was at the Sheff Wed v Rochdale game. If his back was that bad he wouldn’t sit on a plastic chair for 90 mins.

Just listened to Radio Sheffield GMC interview Taylor is the only one that is close there are two more doing their own programs on grass but are weeks away.Knoyle and Long could be available for Saturday but will be checked tomorrow. So they could be ready or we are not letting anybody know if they are not. Anderson seeing a specialist with his back next week.
Ah, I see. Looks like another set back for Close then. A week or so ago aim was the Newcastle game but sounds like October now then.
Anderson out, others hopeful;https://www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk/sport/football/key-doncaster-rovers-defender-ruled-out-of-northampton-town-trip-3819707
That is an issue actually given Griffiths has gone very quiet and there is nobody else who could replace Miller down the centre.
