He’s gone there for the rest of this season. I know there is a close link with Man Utd but you would have thought he could have done a lot better than this level this season. A top end League One side would definitely find a place for him.

Aye. He looked like he had a shit load of potential. Just needed to find out how to be more effective.

Christ that twitter snippet is embarrassing. You'd have thought it was Ronaldo putting on the shirt the way they've gone OTT.

Galbraith. Great prospect. Faded badly as the season progressed but still did enough to warrant being a success at Rovers IMO.

Hope he enjoys playing in front of 3 men and a greyhound at Salford. Seriously though, i wish him all the best in his career.

He used to frustrate the life out of me, most one footed player I’ve ever seen. Used to go the width of the pitch because he was never confident to use both feet

Ex Man Utd coach as Salford Manager that’s why he’s gone there

Technically great but he just wasn't strong enough in the midfield we had. I actually think he'd do better at a higher level, league 2 won't suit him.  Potentially shows how bad we were that he's dropped down.

I know he was in a poor team last season but did that
a) make him look better than he was
b) result in him going backwards

Either way he was poor when played towards the end of the season

What about Cedric Evina?

Come to think of it, he might not even have been one-footed.

Started really well but wasn't up to much in the end. He was good on the ball and that was just so much more obvious because of how bad everyone else is. He's no better than Clayton right now i'd say

Still can’t believe the Real Matt Smith ended up at MK Dons. He was real quality.

Ethan Galbraith used to play in midfield/ number 10 role for Man Utd U21s and all age groups for Northern Ireland, but RW played him at least once at right back !!!

Very good player and just a shame he had to shoulder more responsibility than he should have done trying to play a more disciplined role. Far too much on him and Smith last season for young uns to cope with.

That said, both of them should be better for the experience and wish them well.

Looks like this one is a case of following the money - I’m surprised that he’s not gone to a league 1 club but the Manchester ties may also be strong?

Cracking player, was on a hiding to nothing in our basket case setup last season. I'm sure he'll do very well in L2, surprised to see him drop to this level.

tbf he ran the show at RB against Cheltenhham, was by far the best player on the pitch that day.

Defo has the potential to play at a high level but a bit lightweight atm and over the whole season matt smith was a lot better imo. The Salford-man Utd connection will be the main reason he’s gone there as he will probs be guaranteed game time and he knows ppl around the club. Would’ve thought he’d have had offers in league 1.
