The appointment of DS fits the criteria the club wants
From the free press
in short they clearly felt DS was the best fit. Someone happy to work with the model of how club want to do things, with head of football operations rather than a manager calling all the shots, is obviously key for them.
Therefore as long we continue with our model then experienced managers who like or would want full control will not be considered.
So any backlash by supporters could be turned on Copps and Blunt so let’s hope DS can get more out of these players until at January window at least.
