FSA Awards tonight
« on November 14, 2022, 12:10:48 pm by silent majority »
Just to let you know, the VSC has been busy canvassing for a couple of elements of the club to be recognised at the FSA Awards dinner tonight. 1) Club Supporter Engagement and 2) SLO of the Year.

Fingers crossed!

Is this the same awards night when Millwall get the family club of the year award for the 10th consecutive year ?

Genuine question .

Tyke.
I believe that’s the EFL awards.
We ( Donny ) won it in 2019 I believe.
Nice to hear from you. How’s our Herbie doing ?

No, the one you're thinking of is the EFL Awards which LR has already pointed out. And as far as I'm aware Millwall have only ever won it once.

What you may be confusing it with is the Family Excellence Awards which runs every season when all clubs have to meet a minimum standard. Those who exceed that standard are also classed as Gold Award winners, something we've done very regularly. And again I don't think Millwall reach Gold very often but will meet the Family Excellence level. I think that's what you may be referring to.

The Awards dinner tonight is the Football Supporters Association. Here's a better link;

He's playing very well Lincoln , looks a class act at this level although I'd like to see him running beyond the strikers more than the manager has him playing .

I can update you on that one.
Dean & our clubs supporter engagement didn’t win the overall awards, but I feel very proud on both counts.
Tranmere Rovers won the SLO accolade & Watford Ladies were successful in the supporter engagement award.
Thanks to SM,(  I assume ) for nominating & congratulations to all concerned.

Nothing won this time, however getting onto the short list in both categories was a major achievement.
