Just made dropped a clanger playing for Salford v Northampton.

He may be lacking match practice because that was an awful bit goalkeeping.

1-1 26 mins. Live on Sky.

Maxted came on at H/T for the Cobblers. It’s all Donny.

Cairns played well apart from that clanger which gave a goal away.

Was that a good result for us, Salford winning.  I think it was because we will only be 6 points behind 3rd place Cobblers if we win today.

The play off places are so congested. We just need to get on a good run now and we could be knocking on the door of those auto places.

Apparently Hoskins is attracting interest from clubs higher up the pyramid. Would be good for us if someone poached him as he scored again today.

It would be doubly good in my eyes if Hoskins left , for Rovers sake to blunt the cobblers strike force, and I’ve got George Miller @25/1 e/w to be top goal scorer in L2

Might stop Hoskins scoring but would still need Miller to start. Must be 6 or 7 games without a goal now. Hope he does start again as I’ve got the same bet!

Hasn’t scored in his last 7 and has drawn a blank in 9 of his last 10.

Scored in one of his last 12 games. Thought people were telling me he was a good player? Mid table L2 player at best.

I must admit I thought at one point he was going to be banging them in for fun, but I am struggling to see what he brings other than running for 90 minutes, he seemed more effective under McSheffrey which is bonkers to think

I think Lavery will turn out to be more effective and he is a mid table journeyman

Remember some fantasist at the start of the season seemingly on basis of seeing Miller play in pre-season predict that he would score 25 league goals this season. You do wonder about some people.

Off to Leeds I think, they’ve approached Salford.

Decent keeper but I would be very surprised if he got a Championship club as 1st choice keeper.
Maybe Leeds see him as a no 2

Started with them so maybe ticks off homegrown rule for their bench

Good lad is Alex. If it is true I hope he gets the move and a hefty wage increase for him and his family.
