Have to say that's 4 times I have seen them.    Weak at the back and slow going forwards.

We have none.  Two poor teams today of which we are the worst. We looked like the away side with our defensive tactics and lack of forward movement in midfield just booting the ball hopefully to miller with little effect. The less said about our back line the better.

It's easy to go all Mike Bassett and just say if there were more people who shouted on the pitch then we would miraculously improve, but there is genuinely a question over leaders. Who are the leaders out there? None of them appear to be overly concerned by losing. It's just baked in now that losing is a fact of life that they are mere observers to rather than participants.

Thats me done that. I know this is sh!thousery to the "propper supporters" but thats genuinley me done. I love this club more than anybody. I fell in love with it and have been in love with it for around 28 years. For me its not just about getting out to watch a game on a Saturday afternoon, it runs a bit deeper. My Dad (Lesonthewest) took me to my first game at a very young age and it was always a propper family thing going to the Rovers with my Mum, Dad, Brother, Grandad, Uncle and Cousins and we have supported them through thick and thin. We were very lucky to see an era of a fan taking over and having real drive for the footballing side of the club. My Dads birthday today and we celebrated watching whatever that performance was. In stages we had to chuckle in disbelief at what we were watching. Me and my brother were late getting served at HT and missed the first few minutes of the second half finishing our drinks and there were shed loads of people just stood having a chinwag while the game was playing out. That at any football club should never happen. I now just feel like i dont even know what im supporting  anymore and i wont be spending my money on it, and thats not because weve lost and im angry.... its because i honestly sit there game in, game out, bored to death and anyone saying they love going to the games are frankly lying or have a screw loose. When that goal went in i was numb and not because it was cold. Its absolutely appalling.

It’s a fair comment, that I agree with, I sat in the stands today wondering where the excitement was coming from, from pre KO with terrible loud rubbis music, to crap catering, to rubbish atmosphere and even worse football. It’s easy to get disgruntled with it.

By the way 7002 in there today….. not a chance!

Spot on Stocksarmy.  Agree with everything there and feel exactly the same.  The ambition by the board is to survive and nothing more.

I have to agree with Stocks also. Very similar feelings from us. It feels like we’re just watching bodies on a pitch. Could be anyone. They don’t feel like Rovers players. I don’t get on the edge of my seat when we attack or barely muster a cheer if we do manage a goal. I just feel numb to it all. We did have a good laugh on occasion however, at the total lack of any quality.
I’ll still keep showing up though, for now, cos that’s what we do. But getting harder and harder, especially as I lost dad in September who I went with every week. Things have to change quick to bridge that gap between the club and fans.

The whole thing feels half arsed and shambolic.

Catering - today half shut in the South and then at half time there were no chips available! How do you not cook the food in time for the break?

Scoreboard still broken, been like it for months. Look round to the large board to check the time and most of the time its got an advert on it. Not helpful.

PA system shocking quality, can%u2019t hear the music or make out what the announcer is saying.

A sustainable  club that is sliding down the leagues with no sign of any improvement on the horizon. One inexperienced or unsuitable manager after another managing a team of inexperienced or unwanted players.

Somehow still deciding a MotM after a performance like that and just after we have just thrown the game away - read the room, just dont bother naming one on these occasions.

If we cant go to a game expecting to beat bloody Hartlepool who the hell can we expect to beat?

Myself and 3 others all have had season tickets for the last 15 years plus. We didn’t go today’s game and also missed around 3 to 4 home games each this season. The excitement just isn’t there anymore. I would rather sit at home in the warm watching Soccer Saturday checking my bets off. I’m totally disillusioned with the club and just don’t see myself rushing to watch a game any time soon. The enjoyment factor is well and truly over. I feel totally disconnected from the club, there is no ambition from the top down and we are going to stagnate into a lower half league 2 club.

Sorry to hear of your Dads passing bud. The club does hold sentimental value to most of us and i dread to think what the attendence would be if it didnt. There must be an investor somewhere surely

I have seen 6 games and have to say each game was boring to watch bar the 1st 10 mins of the 2nd half last week.

Slow play each week, giving teams to get organised.    What is Schofield trying to do?

I was watching the shooting practice before the match and it was horrific

19th season ticket in a row for me this year, as it stands, the last… It’s blatantly obvious where we will be in the next 2-3 years.

There was none in that 1st half. The players were just going through the motions.
What is DS saying to them before the game starts.
He should have them fired up so they do come out from min 1 with fight, passion & desire.
Saw none of that. We were playing a team with a shocking away record and we once again made it easy for them.  Simply unacceptable.

2nd half better but it couldn’t be worse. We huffed and puffed and couldn’t knock the house down.
I said on 75 mins we would concede in injury time and lose.
I got wrong they did it with time to spare.

I don’t know where we go from here. DS neede to show what he is made of because the performances are way below what these players are capable of.

I've said before. Tom Anderson  doesn't strike me as a leader. He does not get behind the lads and I have seen him before during a drinks break stand on his own while the rest of the team are at the side of the pitch. Not a leader.

Tommy is the true leader in the team. But needs to be in the middle of the pitch. Not f**king left back

Almost accurate CR, other than I don’t think we  huffed and puffed, in the 2nd half because huffing and puffing needs a physical effort and we never showed that.

I just dont think we can judge the manager. Im now starting to think we had a gem in Wellens but just our bad luck he came without being properly backed. And as stated previously i do get the situation with the board and finances etc but on the flip side i think, if you own a football club you have to put the money forward to be successful. Self sufficient is an incredible achievement and very well played to the club but, why own a club when you dont really care where you are as long as your business is ticking along with its head above water. Im not sure if they are forgetting that they need the fans and fans who have clearly had enough. It comes accross as though they are saying "you want to be grateful you have a club to support". I just cant bring myself to pick out players anymore because the vast majority of them are nowhere near good enough to perform regularly and i feel sorry for them because they work hard and you see the effort but it comes down to quality and thats not their fault, its the budgets.

I’m with stocks on this too. For far too long the team has performed poorly, despite changing the managers. Today we were clueless in the first half. At half time one of my mates quoted the bbc stats, we had had seven (apparently) and Pool had had just the two.  In all honesty we should have been 2-0 down, Pool missed two very good chances.  There was an improvement after the break but you just knew that we wouldn’t score and that we were always likely to concede so in truth it wasn’t really a shock when when we went behind.  Hartlepool were much better than us with the ball too.
I really can’t see us improving our league position either.
Someone mentioned the poor stadium facilities earlier in the thread and it would have been nice to have been able to hear clearly what Graham Lee said at half time but the PA system is so bad that it is like trying to hear something being said under water.
What a mess the club is in.

Spot on. Was talking to my dad and his mates today and they are all debating renewing next year. All 20 year + season ticket holders and the only reason they said they have for going to the game is catching up with each other and old mates. The football is just afterthought.

Too right about NO fight passion or desire from all on the pitch be it players or coaching staff

come to that in a few others who represent MY BELOVED DRFC.

WHO you may ask?

At half time 2 of the I assume Lads wanting at a later stage to become a Professional

These 2 walking infront of the west stand with a drink in their hand(ok have a drink tea whatever )

but the LEWD HAND  Gestures from in front of his private parts from one of the two. (he had a dark puffer style jacket on)

This to  someone in the South Stand who then waited for a female to go down the stairs to chat.

I then noticed as they continued all the way around to the corner of the east stand to the north stand after shall we say messing about with someone else was, after 2 Police pointed out that they were  being called back by a  Female Steward.

She was pointing out many things to them and just wondered what those points of view were?

I know that the 2 found it funny as they then proceeded to point out to others who were sat on the infield chairs the female and laughing ......they then made there way up the stairs to the north end of the West stand.

ALL around the outside of the pitch for what i wonder?

VERY LOW STANDARDS EVERYWHERE!

I’ve stopped going week in week out a couple of
Years ago. It still hurts when we don’t get a result but you can see how demoralised most fans are and never seen such a split in the fan base to the point that it’s toxic. I really think the season tickets will take a hit in the summer and then where do we go and how much more can be stripped away or purse strings tightened. We have a relatively newish stadium and we run it like belle vue from the catering etc…. It’s an expensive hobby football and you don’t expect to win every week but you do expect some effort or at least the feeling of enjoying the game if you don’t get that then expect the frustration or anger
