He's still got it. Scored for Farsley Celtic today. I hope it was a soaring bullet header........

Half Volley with his weak foot according to himself on Twitter lol, got the assist for their winner aswell. He also scored on Tuesday night as well as recently making his 700th career appearance. An excellent achievement for a great player, could still do a job in the NL/League 2 imo.

He said he would still like to play League football ,but that boat has sailed due to ageism in the game and people saying you get to a  certain age and your legs go

Qualified Ref .... He would do a great job having seen how the game works from the inside

They are into the QF of the FA Trophy too.  I’m told that he is still playing really well.

I’ve said it for a long time ex professionals should be fast tracked to being qualified refs for the good of the game, much like they do to county championships cricket umpires.

He could still be playing in the football league. His age doesn’t really matter, he is in the condition of an early thirties aged player. Was always a good solid defender with a goal threat at the other end.

I’d have him back.
